The Himalayan Odyssey family consists of experienced staff, certified guides, and well-trained porters to accompany your journey. Our leaders are friendly and well-principled spirits from different parts of Nepal. They converse fluid English, are licensed by Trekking and Tourism agencies, hold high altitude first aid certificates, and are further well-trained and experienced.
Bikram Karki is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Himalayan Odyssey Treks, bringing over 15 years of experience in Nepal's trekking and adventure tourism industry. Born and raised in Solukhumbu, the gateway to the Everest region, he developed a deep passion for the Himalayas and mountain culture from an early age.
Dhan Raj Karki is the Managing Director of The Himalayan Odyssey Treks, bringing over 10 years of experience in Nepal's trekking and adventure tourism industry. Originally from the Everest Region (Solukhumbu), he grew up surrounded by the Himalayan mountains, inspiring his lifelong passion for trekking, mountaineering, and sustainable tourism.
Growing up in the Everest region, Anil karki developed a deep passion for the Himalayas from an early age. His local expertise, professional training, and friendly personality make him a trusted trekking guide. He is committed to ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, rewarding, and unforgettable adventure while discovering the beauty, culture, and traditions of the Nepalese Himalayas.
Suman Limbu is a passionate trekking and mountaineering professional from the Kanchenjunga region of eastern Nepal, one of the country's most spectacular Himalayan landscapes. Growing up in the mountains inspired him to pursue a career in adventure tourism and mountain guiding.
Biklal Tamang is a highly experienced trekking guide and peak climbing specialist from the Solukhumbu (Everest) Region, the legendary homeland of Himalayan mountaineering. Growing up in the shadow of the world's highest mountains, he developed a deep passion for trekking, climbing, and sharing the beauty of Nepal with travelers from around the world.
Umesh Khatri is a dedicated Trek Guide at The Himalayan Odyssey Treks with over 5 years of professional guiding experience in the Himalayas. Known for his friendly personality, strong leadership, and commitment to safety, he ensures every trek is enjoyable and well organized. Ramesh Karki is an experienced Trek Guide and Camping Cook at The Himalayan Odyssey Treks. Originally from Solukhumbu, the heart of the Everest region, he has a deep connection to the Himalayas and a strong passion for adventure tourism. Having successfully completed the Great Himalaya Trail (GHT), he possesses extensive knowledge of Nepal's remote mountain landscapes and trekking routes. With his expertise in guiding, outdoor cooking, and campsite management, Ramesh is dedicated to ensuring every trekking and camping adventure is safe, comfortable, and memorable for guests.
