About The Trip

Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in the districts of Nawalpur, Parsa, Chitwan, and Makwanpur. The dense jungle, wide grasslands, and dispersed marshlands are ideal homes to some of the fiercest predators and their prey. Witness real wilderness in the forests of Chitwan: go for a jeep safari in the bottom of the forest or ride an elephant and catch wildlife by surprise.

Go in search of the majestic nature and watch the huger one-horned rhinoceros wander free, while the great Asiatic elephants move about the jungles in herds.  Chitwan National Park is the closest and the ideal place to go for a wildlife safari. You may also get a chance to see the endangered wildlife like Royal Bengal Tiger, elephants, one-horned rhinoceros, and many more. There are more than 50 different types of grasses, including the elephant grass, famed for its enormous height. It can grow up to 8m in height. Chitwan Park is the habitation to more than 50 mammal species, over 525 birds, and 55 amphibians and reptiles.

Your tour in the Chitwan includes many diverse activities which offer visitors and extreme fun blended with thrilling wildlife adventures. You can do many activities like elephant safari, jeep safari, canoe ride, nature walk, and cultural dance. The nature walk is perfect for walking lovers where you will be able to see birds and elephants bathing. The canoe ride in Rapti River is another great chance to see the crocodiles, seasonal dolphins, and different species of birds. Moreover, your tour will be memorable by visiting elephant and crocodile breeding centers.

Despite nature and wildlife inside the national park, you will also witness the ethnic tribe of Tharu people during Chitwan Jungle Safari. These Tharu people live on the border area of Chitwan National Parks. You will be welcomed by the Tharu tribe into the traditional mud house with great hospitality. A large campfire with mesmerizing Tharu culture dance with soothing folk songs will be the ultimate jungle experience. You can find many jungle safari in national parks but Chitwan is most preferred because of the main tourist destination and easy access to get there. This tour will be fully relaxed as you do not have to walk like a trek. Chitwan Jungle Safari is favorable on any day and for any age.
