Good to Know

Everest View Trek Weather

Choosing the best season offers spectacular views and scenery of clear mountains and colourful natures. Nepal has 4 seasons: summer, autumn, winter, and spring.

Spring Season

This season falls from March to May month and is also the highly recommended season of the year. The trials will fill with lots of adventure lovers as it’s the best time to observe a magnificent clear picture of mountains and beautiful surroundings. The average temperature of Namche Bazar will be around 2 to 17 degrees Celsius. You will have a comfortable and cozy night in suitable tea house treks. During the day, it’s quite hot so you can walk comfortably.

You will also witness the blooming rhododendron and the chirping sound of the birds. Colourful wildflowers will light up the entire region of Everest which fills your heart with mixed emotions of excitement, peace, and joy.

Autumn Season

Autumn falls from September to November, which is another fantastic season for trekking. You will experience neither too hot nor too cold during the Everest trek. Autumn falls just after the monsoon ends, and hills are refilled and lush with vibrant views in clean air washed by rain. There will be light rain, but the views afterwards are marvellous. Days are warmer between 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, whereas night will be a little colder.

The views are crystal clear, providing a wide range of beautiful mountains and green hills. During this joyous season, you will witness the mountains, hills, rivers, and waterfalls full of life. Many festivals like Dashain, Tihar, and Chhat fall in this season. You will get a chance to observe Nepalese culture and celebrate different festivals with locals.

Winter Season

This season falls between December to February, and it is the least favourite season of the year for the Everest full picture trek. The weather is freezing cold during the night, but still, the adventure lover can trek here. If you have the right backpack, there will be easy to complete the trip. Frequent snowballs in the trials and strong winds are the main barrier in the winter season. The temperature will be -5 to 10 degrees Celsius.

Summer Season

Summer is the hottest and rainy season in Nepal, and it falls between June to August. The weather is too hot with frequent rainfall, which leads to slippery and uncomfortable trails. Trekking in this season may be dangerous and boring, and the flight schedule may be changed or cancelled. The temperature will be between 5 to 15 degrees Celsius.
