Everest Three High Passes Trek 18 days Itinerary

The Everest Three High Passes Route begins with a breathtaking and adventurous flight from Kathmandu to Lukla Airport. From here, we will trek to Phakdingthrough the Sherpa village and farmland. The next day, we will start with an adventurous suspension bridge over fast-flowing rivers to reach Namche Bazar. Further, we will ascend to Thame, Lungden, and Gokyo via Renjo La Pass (5,465 m/17,520 ft.).

Wildlife and view of the Himalayas add excitement to your trekking. From Renjo La, sparkling vista awaits like Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu will be shining due to sun rays. Further, we will trek from Thangnakto Dzongla via Cho La Pass (5,420 m/17,782 ft.). To reach Dzongla, the trail is challenging because of rocky trails and glacial moraines to the top of the pass.

Today the trek will be exciting as we are heading to the Everest Base Camp. We will trek through the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier for about 2.5 hours. As we reach Gorak Shep, we will witness beautiful snow-capped mountains looming all around us. After many efforts and an exciting view during the walk, we will reach Everest Base Camp.

We feel a rush of pride in our bodies, appreciating the efforts and dedication to achieve a lap of Everest. After spending some time at base camp, we will head back to Gorak Shep. Early morning we will hike to Kalapatthar at dawn to view the sunrise on Everest. After the fantastic view, we will head toward Lobuche.

Further, we will trek to Chhukung via Kongma La Pass (5,535 m/18,159 ft.). We now then descend the valley of Imja Khola and trek through the village of Tengboche. During the walk, you will see the panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. We will also visit the Buddhist monastery at Tengboche.

From here, we will trek to Namche Bazar to Lukla. If everything goes as scheduled next morning, we will  fly back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the view of the Himalayas and green hills during the flight.
